da blaze casino: The doors appear to have been opened for Sheffield Wednesday to potentially land a key target after he was recalled back to his parent club ahead of this month’s transfer window.
What’s the word?
da bet7k: Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has returned to north London following a mixed loan spell at the Owls’ local rivals Leeds United.
The 20-year-old scored five goals in 19 appearances in all competitions but was restricted to just two starts in the Championship, ironically his final two appearances for the club, per Transfermarkt.

Last week, Wednesday were reported to hold interest in the Gunners forward, and now they have the opportunity to act upon it with him being available for another loan move this month.
However, they will face stiff competition from a host of rivals in Bristol City, Brentford and another unnamed league side, according to Gregor MacGregor of the Bristol Post.
Much-needed signing
Such a presence would be a more than welcome addition at Hillsborough given the Owls’ struggles in recent weeks.
Garry Monk’s side have hugely suffered in the absence of top goalscorer Steven Fletcher, enduring a run of three straight defeats with the 32-year-old missing 225 of the 270 minutes played.
Fletcher has bagged 12 goals so far this campaign with the next best being a mere three goals from both Barry Bannan and Jordan Rhodes, per WhoScored.
It is clear to see that Monk needs better options in attack and someone of Nketiah’s pedigree can offer the side something new.
David Court, one of Arsenal’s senior figures in youth development, once labelled the striker as a ‘goalscoring machine’ who has ‘great movement’ and an ability to score with both feet as well as his head – despite being only 5 foot 9.
According to this article from the Bristol Post, Nketiah has averaged 7.9 dribbles per 90 minutes across the last three seasons for Leeds and Arsenal’s youth team while also managing to average 3.4 shots per 90.

Wednesday’s next best in the first metric is Kadeem Harris, who averages 2.1 successful dribbles per 90 minutes while outcast Sam Winnall has somehow managed to get off more shots, averaging ten per 90, via WhoScored.
Now that the young prospect is readily available, Monk must strike quickly in order to get ahead of the competition – maybe he should get out Microsoft PowerPoint out in the same way that Marcelo Bielsa did, it just might be wise to actually stick to it, though.
And in other Owls news, this Monk outcast won’t be leaving the club this month after playing down reports linking him to an exit…
