Plenty of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to a transfer update on midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
The 17-year-old made his Premier League debut on Wednesday evening in the 2-1 win over Tottenham.
Chukwuemeka replaced Marvelous Nakamba in the final stages and nearly sealed the win, with his stoppage-time effort hitting the post.
Despite Chukwuemeka only recently breaking into the first-team fold, it seems as if the youngster is already attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
According to BILD, cited by Sports Witness, Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are keen. The German newspaper adds that Borussia Dortmund are ‘actively monitoring’ Chukwuemeka, who would cost around €15m (£12.9m).
The Villa midfielder is regarded as the next Jude Bellingham, with the report claiming Chukwuemeka would be a perfect fit for Dortmund.
Villa fans react
@villareport shared the news regarding Dortmund’s interest in Chukwuemeka on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
It’s safe to say their post didn’t go down too well, with several Villa supporters urging the club not to sell.
