West Ham have had their fair share of injury problems this season with Ryan Fredericks the latest man set for an extended period on the sidelines.
According to Sky Sports, Fredericks will miss the rest of 2018 following an injury to his left fibula which will come as another massive blow to Manuel Pellegrini.
The West Ham boss is currently without two of the club’s other signings from the summer Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko, while the likes of Andy Carroll and Winston Reid have yet to kick a ball competitively under the Chilean.
With Fredericks now out injured, that leaves Pablo Zabaleta as the only natural right-back in the first team.
So far this campaign, Fredericks has mainly played second fiddle to the Argentinian who has been in fine form. Going forward, though, the former Fulham man certainly has plenty to offer to this West Ham team, especially with Zabaleta set to leave the club next summer.
