Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after Fulham boss Scott Parker called the Reds ‘the best counter attacking team in Europe’.
Parker was overseeing just his second game in charge of the Cottagers since Claudio Ranieri was sacked, and watched his charges make life difficult for Jurgen Klopp’s title hopefuls at Craven Cottage.

With the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino up top, whilst Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold bomb up and down the flanks, the Merseysiders are excellent on the counter-attack, transitioning from defence to attack almost instantaneously.
Parker is spot on with his comments – he would be hard pressed not to say what he said having watched Liverpool score against Fulham at Anfield just 14 seconds after a long throw out from Alisson – the Brazilian stopper is key to their counter-attacking brilliance.
Whilst Parker has hit the nail on the head, his comments seem to have split the Reds fanbase who aren’t all in agreement with the former West Ham midfielder’s comments…
